My name is Charlene Jackman. I am a professional black woman who is a business owner with over 30 years of experience in the finance/banking sector.

I am a United States immigrant who hails from Trinidad & Tobago in the West Indies where my “her” story begins.

The eldest of two girls my parents’ attempted to keep me occupied all the time as I was usually bored. In response, I was given a pen/pencil, coloring book, and pieces of paper to doodle, write, or color. Little did my parents know the hidden potential that lies within.

Although I pursued another career path, creating art has been an innate gift that has come full circle.

I have been ‘Creating Art in Secret’ for a very long time, and now I want to share it with you.
